Symphony of Stars

A rare occurrence - I photographed the night sky and the image encapsulates (to my satisfaction) its mystical & mysterious magic.

Usually my sky photos do minimal justice to the soaring beauty of it (pun intended), but this one captures the soul-stirring celestial vibe -- the colors, the sparkling stars, the twinkling energy—all the nighttime magic!

Looking at the picture  stokes my creative fire (almost) the same way experiencing it in person did. I feel inspired to start a new series of paintings depicting the sky (which I will creatively call The Sky Series lol). The first one will be the constellation Orion, specifically Orion’s Belt, and even more specifically the middle star of Orion’s Belt because I have felt an inexplicable pull toward  that star for as long as I can remember. I’ve had so many dreams about it too so I am long overdue to ride its creative current—or perhaps I’m not overdue; perhaps now is exactly the  “right” time…
